The U.S. Space Force is the youngest branch of the United States Armed Forces. Its flag has a field of black (for the black of outer space). In the center is a blue Earth, with lines of latitude and longitude, together with a white elliptical orbit around it.
A deltoid is superimposed, pointing upward toward space. It’s colored from light to dark — white on the left side, going to darker shades of gray as you move clockwise, symbolizing the 24-hour protection provided by the Space Force. The North Star, Polaris, is prominent at the top, and two star clusters are depicted in the sky.
At the bottom are the words UNITED STATES SPACE FORCE together with MMXIX, the year the Space Force was established (2019), in Roman numerals.
